T he chic opening fête for Tenenbaum Jewelers' new Westheimer gem empo- rium was so dazzling that one prac- tically needed sunglasses to take it all in. Covering 8,500 square feet, the fresh domain tempted partygoers with ev- erything from six-fi gure vintage jewels to con- temporary selections. It was a very fi ne night for Tony Bradfi eld and Kevin Black, who have successfully grown the company's presence in the city since purchasing Tenenbaum in 2010; the heady collection of guests served as testimony to their eminence. In an only-the-best-will-do move, the duo tapped Tony's restaurant to serve food and drink for the festivities, which included a Chinese dragon dance in honor of Bradfi eld's late mother, who loved all things Shanghai.
