24 PROPS TO A CELEBRANT AND SOCIAL FORCE Shelby Hodge takes a lesson in throwing the perfect party. Photography Emile C. Brown. A coveted invitation to a party chez Becca Cason Thrash guarantees a night spectacular. For her party prow- ess (with a purpose), the fall issue of The Editorialist and a cult-favored blog anointed her "one of the world's preeminent party hosts." We have to agree. The biannual magazine/e-commerce site praised Thrash for raising close to $75 million for the arts and charity via her much-celebrated events. PaperCity joined forces with Editorialist co-founder and co-editor Stefania Allen, a native Houstonian, to salute the anointed one at a cock- tail gathering at Longoria Collection — the centerpiece of The Editorialist three-day pop-up shop that featured the magazine's fashion and acces- sories offerings. SEEN: John Thrash, Cathy and Giorgio Borlenghi, Karen Pulaski, Ceron, Sima Ladjevardian, Rania Daniel, Kelli Kickerillo and Todd Forester, Greg Fourticq, Tami Dias, Courtney Hopson, Gracie and Bob Cavnar, and Longoria owner Sylvia Dorsey and daughter Elizabeth Dorsey Fertitta.
