The cool kids poured in to the Theory boutique at River Oaks District to peruse fall fashion in the season's top colors — aubergine, navy, and brown — as well as basic black and pristine white. Champagne flowed while waiters from neighbor- ing Toulouse offered tastes from the French restau- rant's menu. Since its inception, Holiday Schmooze has been held in amazing resi- dences. Most recently, Melissa and Michael Mithoff opened the doors of their contemporary River Oaks home, where guests were greeted by a merry Santa Claus, on hand for photo ops with all. Per tradition, Jackson and Company provided the party fare, which included the caterer's famed empanadas and coconut shrimp. Adding to the glam factor of the night, Tenenbaum Jewelers brought in to-die-for David Webb jewels and gifted a lucky raffle winner with a generous gift certificate.
