T he latest chapter of Fendi's FF series begins with Nicki Minaj — rapper and all-around badass fashion icon. The capsule collection, Fendi Prints On (named for lyrics in Minaj's song "Chun-Li") melds t h e m u s i c i a n 's f l a m b o y a n c e with Fendi's DNA and signature artisanal techniques. Silvia Venturini Fendi and her design team have created a collection that moves from a sequin-embroidered tulle dress to nylon organza maxi windbreakers and silver tracksuits without missing a beat. Bodysuits, one-piece swimsuits, triangle bikinis, and the eye-catching Kan U bag and wraparound mask sunglasses with crystal F-shaped details round out the collection. At the Fendi boutique, fendi. com. Steven Hempel C ondé Nast and Gucci have released the third act in the third season of their short film series The Performers. For those who have not had the pleasure of viewing seasons one or two, they are well worth your time. Each short features a different setting and theme as it explores some of the world's most original creatives. The films are expertly produced, provocative, and beautiful. The latest — and last — installment, features trans actress Daniela Vega and is directed by up-and- coming Mexican director Alejandra Márquez Abella. Shot in Mexico City's Tepito neighborhood, it has an otherworldly feel. Stark, beautiful, almost magical. The film examines one's control over identity when faced with adversity — a theme that many can identify with, regardless of situation or orientation. It clocks in at just four minutes; you'll be hard pressed to find anything else that packs this much punch into such a small time frame. You can find it online at Gucci and international editions of Vogue, GQ, and Vanity Fair.
