28 DAVID SUTHERLAND TIMOTHY CORRIGAN X PHOTOGRAPHY JONATHAN ZIZZO O n day one of Texas Design Week Dallas, designer Timothy Corrigan flew in from L.A. to celebrate his new book, The New Elegance: Stylish, Comfortable Rooms for Today (Rizzoli), hosted by David and Ann Sutherland at David Sutherland showroom in the Dallas Design Center. Guests gathered for cocktails and design chat and to hear Corrigan's witty talk on the building blocks of successful decoration, followed by a book signing. Corrigan also showed his new fabric collection for Perennials, which is inspired by classic interiors, including his own restored château in the Loire Valley.
