Cue Southern Methodist University's venerable Meadows Museum, which marks a milestone anniversary this spring: 20 years in its handsome red-brick colonnaded structure, a paean to classical architecture designed by Chicago-based Hammond Beeby Rupert Ainge Since its unveiling i n 2 0 0 1 , t h i s 66,000-square-foot Georgian jewel box has honed a singular focus that spans half a millennia of Spanish art, with holdings touted as the best outside t h e I b e r i a n P e n i n s u l a . Now on view, dual exhibitions at the Meadows showcase iconic works as well as casting a wider net to highlight other notable collections housed campus-wide.
