Rebecca Sherman L eave it to boundary- pushing, color- obsessed designer Kelly Wearstler to do something unexpected. Her new palette of sun- soaked hues with Farrow & Ball is the first time a designer outside of the company has created a collection for the storied English paint brand, which marks its 75th anniversary this year. Wearstler has used Farrow TAR JOINS DOWN PIPE & Ball's sumptuous paints in her projects for more than two decades, and she designed the eight hues of The California Collection to work within the brand's wider range of colors, or on their own. Wearstler was inspired by the muted California landscape for her palette, which includes such evocative tones as Citrona, Hazy, Faded Terracotta, Tar, Sand, and Salt.
