A modular prefab home is not to be confused with a manufactured or mobile home. They are: Highly regulated by the state in two parts - the manufacturer has gone through a rigorous process to be licensed, and, each unit is inspected throughout the process. When the module is ready to ship, an Industrialized Builder is used to set the modules and connect the utilities. This process is also inspected multiple times by the state.
