M is en Scène: The Galleria and PaperCity hosted a fashion-forward luncheon at Nobu for MD Anderson supporters. Before dining on the eatery's fusion cuisine, guests perused must-have merchandise from Galleria luxury merchants De Beers, Tom Ford, Tod's, Christian Louboutin, Ferragamo, and Moncler. During lunch, Akris and The Webster presented a short runway show. High Point: The salute to the principals of MD Anderson's Santa's Elves fundraiser was the sweetest reminder of the founding of the event 17 years ago, when Greg Fourticq Jr. surprised his parents, Patsy and Greg Fourticq on their 50th wedding anniversary with a significant endowment providing funding for MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital in perpetuity. From there, Paige Fertitta took up the torch and has since hosted the Santa's Elves holiday fundraiser with the Fourticqs at the Fertitta family home in River Oaks.
