OBSESSIONS. DECORATION. SALIENT FACTS. Gucci Goes Up Shape Shifters G ucci has upped i t s p r o f i l e i n T h e G a l l e r i a w i t h a n e w 11,000-square- foot, two-story boutique designed in collaboration with Italian artist Luca Pignatelli. Pigantelli's store window concept, Endless Narratives, intertwines objects, ideas and stories — an immersive concept of books, artifacts, and treasures. The new space allows the heritage house to show an impressive assortment of merchandise on the first floor, from women's ready-to- wear, shoes, and accessories including the signature Blondie and Gucci B handbags to a VIP dressing lounge. The second floor is men's ready-to-wear and the Gucci Valigeria travel collection. This fresh tableau embraces a contemporary vision with a central staircase in lacquered Gucci Rosso Ancora, the fashion House's new signature oxblood red. Inspired by recent renovations at Gucci's flagship stores on Monte Napoleone in Milan and Gucci Wooster in New York City, design I nspired by classic biker jackets, Louis Vuitton's latest signature bag, the LV BIKER, is meant to harness a bit of our wild side. Made of lambskin leather, the bag sports several straps and two handles, allowing it to be worn as clutch, across body, on the shoulder or however you see fit. If its styling cues feel slightly aggressive, its soft structure tones these down, resulting in a bag with the personality of a chameleon, able to shift and shape depending on mood and circumstance. Designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, artistic director of women's collections, it's available in three sizes and a variety of colors. Some things speak for themselves. Louis Vuitton's latest Shopper Tote MM is exactly that — easy to have around, handy to carry, with a distinctive look, and eminently practical. As tote's go, this plays second fiddle to none. Made of incredibly soft cowhide leather, it's an easy add for your next short journey. At Louis Vuitton.
