A nyone who's experienced Meow Wolf Denver — Convergence Station, a take on a futuristic train station "fueled by cosmic transit" — has basked in the call- ing card of that installation, Crystal Future. It's an immersive environment where a sci-fi, crystal-encrusted cave meets a grand architectural temple of circuit boards. Its creator, Denver artist Christopher Owen Nelson, is headed to Round Top this month, where his nature-based 2D and 3D utopian painting and sculpture prom- ise to wow visitors at Halles Fine Art, debuting at Halles Art Barn. Nelson says of his practice, "I feel like there's a transformation that happens when you see something that you didn't know was possible."
