"'You're going to love it,' he said. Then we started negotiating," Slonem says, "and we finally made a deal." As for his vision for Seaview Terrace's next life, Slonem plans to add furnishings, paint walls, and place things as he goes. "I never change anything, except to bring it back to what it once was," he says.
