Williams offered relief with the illusion of a towering breaking wave, nearly 10 meters (more than 30 feet) high, that split in two and sent an ozone-scented breeze across a runway blanketed in sand and weathered timber. As parakeets flew overhead and guests settled into the beach fantasy, the boundary between Paris and French Polynesia momentarily disappeared. For Spring/Summer 2027, Williams turned to surf culture, drawing a natural connection between the casual codes of surf language and Louis Vuitton's modern dandy. Relaxed tailoring met technical performance through wetsuit- inspired fabrics, weathered textures, faded checks, and trompe l'oeil craftsmanship that elevated everyday materials with the House's exceptional savoir-faire. Rooted in ideas of travel, freedom, and craftsmanship, the collection imagined a wardrobe equally at home in the city or by the sea. The presentation also carried an environmental message. In conjunction with the collection, Louis Vuitton expanded its partnership with Coral Gardeners through its Regeneration 2030 program, supporting coral reef restoration in French Polynesia — a fitting continuation of a collection shaped by the ocean and the communities that live alongside it. High Summer With Paris pushing three-figure degrees, Dries Van Noten creative director Julian Klausner delivered a Spring/Summer 2027 collection made for the moment. His third men's outing for Dries Van Noten was an exercise in color and lightness, moving from peach and caramel through spice tones, watery blues, forest greens, and hazy botanical prints. Inspired by Stéphane Mallarmé's poem Afternoon of a Faun, Klausner used washed silks, chiffon, sheer knits, watery nylon, and viscose, cut into languid layers that seemed to float around the body. Cargo pants fluttered, parkas drifted, shoulders dropped, and silky shorts brought an unapologetic femininity to the collection. The palette did the talking: powdery solids, blurred gradients, and smudged florals layered with an instinctive ease. At a sweltering Tennis Club de Paris, the effect was soft, sensual, and slightly dreamlike. Three men's collections into his tenure, Klausner's work is creating a distinct language at Dries. Character Study Celine artistic director Michael Rider closed Paris Men's Fashion Week with one of the season's most convincing debuts. His first standalone menswear collection for Celine resists easy definition, blending prep, tailoring, sportswear, bohemia, and rock, harkening a new attitude at the revered house. The shift was in the details: shirt pockets climbed higher, cuffs extended longer, and sleeveless knits laced across the back, while cropped flares and softly draped trousers subtly recalibrated familiar silhouettes. Each piece demanded a second look, and a young cast enhanced the theater of it all — one model seemed headed to class, another to a gallery opening, another to a music festival. That spirit carried into the set: a white box framed by scaffolding, softened with cream cushions and the occasional printed accent. Rider established a new vocabulary for Celine — one defined by ease, confidence, and precision. Comunión The room smelled of XINU's FlordeMusgo — earthy, green, almost damp. At every seat, a piece of driftwood gathered from the Mexican coast was wrapped i n f r a g r a n c e - s o a k e d thread. Before a single look appeared, Willy Chavarria had already set the tone. For Spring/Summer 2027, C o m u n i ó n looked towards the home: faded kitchen walls, monogrammed handkerchiefs t u c k e d i n t o drawers, floral pillowcases and t a b l e c l o t h s , the colors and objects that stick with you throughout your life. Chavarria translated them into Willy Red, Plastic Pink, Celestial Blue, lilac, and copper green. The clothes had his familiar swagger but a new softness. Strong shoulders met fluid silk, sheer organza, lace, relaxed suits, abbreviated shorts, and razor-sharp collars. Boxer shorts slipped beneath pencil skirts; cropped jackets offset sweeping dresses. Masculine and feminine moved back and forth without much concern for the distinction. "We are confident, kind, and tough," says Chavarria. His new UGG collaboration played with the same tension, mixing biker culture with something softer and more familiar, on a cast that included Romeo Beckham. Comunión, at its heart, is a collection that says more about looking forward and less about the road already traveled. Pinault Collection's Bourse de Commerce.
