A Special Evening with Kenny Loggins hosted by Alliance Data and benefitting LaunchAbility proved to be a chart-topper in more ways than one. Chairmen Susan and George Kelly and honorary chairmen Brill and Jason Garrett and Marianne and Roger Staubach helped produce this event, which has raised a record-setting $2.1 million over the last 11 years for LaunchAbility, an organization that provides life-changing hope, confidence and independence to those with developmental disabilities. After a VIP reception, nearly 2,000 guests applauded as emcee Jody Dean called upon Karen Wald to present the Milton P. Levy Jr. Outstanding Volunteer Award — a green heart sculpture by Brad Oldham — to Anne and Steve Stodghill. The hits kept coming via an extremely lively auction, which included a signed Kenny Loggins' guitar up for bid. Fortunately, the charttopping artist brought a spare that was put to good use during a concert that rocked the Morton L. Meyerson Symphony Center.
