Realtor. Resource. Friend. R i c e V i l l a g e H o u s t o n H e i g h t s H i s t o r i c D o w n t o w n G a l v e s t o n 713.862.1600 • yourblvd.com Let's face it. We must learn to live with Houston f looding. While we couldn't be prouder of Houston's resilience nor more grateful for 2018's positive real estate headlines, Har vey was a disruption we intend to heed. Seriously. We have a real opportunity to do differently for our beloved bayou city. I saw first-hand the devastation of Har vey, and I will do ever ything in my ability to mitigate the impact of future f looding on you, your friends, and your neighborhood. Whether you're a Realtor, builder, developer, elected official, or property owner, business as usual is simply not an option. It would take our resilience, innovative spirit, and best minds around this subject for granted. Beyond that, it would be an insult to all those affected. Flooding will happen again. We at Boulevard Realty have a fiduciar y responsibility to you to take that ver y seriously. We believe it's possible to have urban f looding without urban devastation. Our job is to study and make sense of it all, to be an active part of the discussion on your behalf, and to educate you. We've become f lood-literate so that we can translate it all for you before the next, possibly worse, f lood. Being in the 100-year f loodplain doesn't mean a home will f lood ever y 100 years. That really means that in the life of its 30-year mortgage there is a 26% chance of it f looding. If you don't get that, that's okay— because my sixty agents and I do. How can we help you make sense of it all? WE SPEAK F L O O D Broker/Owner 500-year f lood level. Above 1%. 100-year f lood level. If your Realtor doesn't speak "f lood," you need a new Realtor.
