ERIN MATHEWS 214.520.8300 ERIN@ERINHOME.COM THE RESIDENT EXPERT DJ LUCY WRUBEL: HER HOLIDAY TRACKS — AND THEN SOME "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey. I would play this song year-round if it was not a ridiculous idea. I love it that much. "I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day" by Nick Lowe The entire album of this '80s treasure is incredible. "Donde Esta Santa Claus" by Guster. That's a little toe-tapper, right there. "Every Day's Like Christmas" by Kylie Minogue. Even if Brian Bolke and I were not obsessed with Kylie, I would be obsessed with this song. She sounds like she looks! "Hard Candy Christmas" by Dolly Parton. Because doy! My dog is named Dolly — so double doy. "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" by Hollywood Drunks. That hook! It's just an obscure happy fave. "Just Another Christmas Song" by Sharon Jones and the Daptones. We lost her this year, and I cried. This track is a true holiday gem. Sounds old, but its fresh and recent. "Maybe This Christmas" by Ron Sexsmith. Might be my most beloved holiday song. Every word counts, and this version is pure, flawless, timeless. "Snow In Venice" by Elizaveta. Songwriting so good I see this when I hear it — and I wish it was me in the song. "Snow Plus Christmas" by The Pearlfisher. It's a holiday jam. I said it. "Alone on Christmas Day" by Phoenix with Billy Murray and Jason Schwartzman. Listen, I'm obsessed with Phoenix and Bill Murray. Who isn't? So it's kind of like a Wes Anderson Christmas song. "Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses. It's perfect — a holiday anthem. "Presents Without A Bow" by Kacey Musgraves and Leon Bridges. Every single thing she touches is (silver and) gold. "Señor Santa" by Y La Bamba. Just trust me. W ho needs Santa Claus when you can have G w y n e t h P a l t r o w . The founder of beloved lifestyle brand Goop — along with her team of product gurus — has transformed her Dallas, San Francisco, and Manhasset pop-up shops into what is officially being dubbed Goop Gift, a temporary shop dedicated entirely to gifts. Seemingly overnight, the Goop pop-up in Highland Park Village was given a fresh coat of paint — its interiors swathed in rich charcoal gray — with a neon #goopgift sign glowing inside. The store has been organized into 12 different nooks, each dedicated to a specific gifting category, from The Traveler and The One and Only (exclusive, one-of- a-kind luxury gifts) to The Lover and The One-Step-Aheader. Offerings here can't be found elsewhere: personalized backgammon sets by Not-Another-Bill; tarot card deck via Casey Zabala; Goop x Cinnamon Projects incense set; and the Morihata Chikuno Cube natural air purifier.
