Luisana Mendoza, Bailey McCarthy Sylvana Ward Durrett W e weren't quite sure what microfashion was when former Vogue-ettes Sylvana Ward Durrett and Luisana Mendoza told us they were bringing it to Houston via their e-commerce company Maisonette. The buzzy new term for children's wear was adopted by the chic mom-trepreneurs, who brought selections of Maisonette's adorable children's labels including Egg New York, Oeuf, Petite Plume, and more to Bailey McCarthy's House Beautiful-featured River Oaks home for a showing. Durrett and Mendoza were fresh off stops in Miami and Palm Beach, with a Dallas PA forthcoming, bringing their e-commerce concept to life for customers. Fashion designer Hunter Bell, who recently moved her collection of womenswear from New York to Houston, showed her new tot line, Harrison Bell, which Maisonette carries. Guests chatted and shopped before once again queueing up in carpool lines.
