"Gray Malin at the Parker series with the animals in one room and Gray Malin at the Beverly Hills Hotel series in the other," he says. What's next for Malin? In the immediate future, a new photography series. "We have a shoot planned in Barcelona in a couple of weeks that is going to be very different and fun." But there's a dream collaboration he has in mind. "As travel is such a staple for the brand, I would love to do a collaboration with an airline or something in depth with a travel company," he says. "I have a clear vision of what this could look like." Paging Virgin Air — we're on board. fine art prints, Malin has splashed his cheerful scenic aerial photographs across beach towels, candles, playing cards, and outdoor umbrellas. He has a resort- inspired women's clothing collection with Splendid and a wallpaper collection with Mitchell Black. Malin recently popped into Houston to sign his third photography book, Italy (Abrams), at boarding-school pal Bailey McCarthy's store Biscuit. He said his latest source of inspiration is his six-month-old twin babies. "It's amazing watching my kids grow and learn everyday — they are adorable and surprise me constantly. I'm excited to spend all summer with them once I'm finished with my book tour." The twins helped inspire his first furniture collection with Cloth & Company, which is available on One Kings Lane and at Bloomingdale's. In the collection, his series of wild animals staying at the iconic Parker Palm Springs hotel is transformed into petite upholstered chairs, headboards, and ottomans.
