CEO Augie Bering V and his wife, Mia, held court as the merry throng pulsed through the flagship store on Westheimer and its popular annex. For the milestone anniversary, Bering's added to the amusements with knife-skills classes; free hot- towel, straight razor shaves in The Man Shop; catered to-go snacks from Lemond Kitchen; and margaritas served from Jo's Mini Mobile Bar. Customers of all ages, from toddlers to 85, meandered through the departments of the swankiest hardware store on the planet.
