F all is flying by, and I can't believe it's time to start preparing for the holidays. As we gear up for Thanksgiving, everyone at PaperCity is reminded how grateful we are to be involved w i t h s o m a n y w o n d e r f u l philanthropic organizations in Dallas. Giving back and supporting the nonprofits that make our city great is in the DNA of the magazine, and we're honored to help play even the smallest role in the work they do. On that note, we have plenty of benevolent to- dos this month: PaperCity is the exclusive media sponsor for AT&T Performing Arts Center's Turn Up the Lights event, hosted by ATTPAC's Auxiliary Board Thursday, November 4. As a member of the board, I can guarantee it will be a special, festive night supporting one of Dallas' most important arts organizations. Also on Thursday, November 4, Chefs for Farmers makes its debut — a festival of food and drink showcasing Dallas' incredible culinary scene and the farmers who help make the food magic possible (through November 7). You'll find us raising a glass to the Dallas Zoo on Saturday, November 6, at the 30th annual Zoo to Do. Come Friday, November 12, all eyes will be on the Dallas Art Fair as it makes its anticipated return to Fashion Industry Gallery for three days, showcasing a robust selection of works from the art world's top national and international galleries. On Saturday, November 13, we'll be enjoying A Night at the Museum, benefitting the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. This year's theme is "Accelerate," and we always look forward to roaming the museum after-hours — cocktail in hand, of course. We'll cap off a busy November on Friday, November 19, when you'll find us back at AT&T Performing Arts Center for the center's Bravo! Gala, with a special performance by Broadway darling Phillipa Soo, known for originating the role of Eliza Schuyler Hamilton in the Tony-winning musical Hamilton. In this issue, we gear up for the season of all things merry and bright, highlighting alluring jewels, a major impressionist auction and a roundup of some of the crowd-favorite rooms from Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas.
