Brenham-area vendors bring crafts and treats to the historic hotel for a day of holiday shopping. Gratis. Saturday, December 2 8 – 11 am: Breakfast with Santa at Royers Round Top Café. Give Santa your wish list and enjoy a hearty breakfast, hot chocolate, and coffee. Tickets $20. 3 – 9 pm: Round Top Annual Lighted Christmas Parade. Shopping, drinks, and food. Parade starts at 6:45 pm, rain or shine. Register your float or decorated vehicle for the parade online. 5 – 10 pm: Downtown Brenham Christmas Stroll & Lighted Parade. Christmas tree lighting and caroling at Courthouse Square, followed by parade at 6 pm. Visit Santa at the courthouse gazebo, or ride through historic downtown on the 1950 Invader fire truck at the Brenham Fire Museum. Thursday, December 7 5 – 8 pm: 17th annual Schmeckenfest Wassail Competition at La Grange town square. Sample a variety of hot ciders amid a small-town Christmas festival with music, treats, and photos with Santa. Saturday, December 9 Noon – 6 pm: Annual Homes Tour in Fayetteville. Homes and locations to be announced. Noon – 4 pm: Christmas at Winedale Folklife Event. Mid-19th-century reenactments and demonstrations including wagon and hayrides, mini-horse carriages, spinners, weavers, woodcarvers, quilters, blacksmith, period music, more. Gratis. Winedale Historical Complex, 3738 FM 2714, Round Top. 4 pm: Round Top Festival Institute presents Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker Ballet. Ovation Ballet Company's 14th annual production at Festival Hill. One show only. Tickets $40. 4 – 6 pm: Texas Christmas Teddy Bear Parade in downtown Chappell Hill. Meet Santa and enjoy hot cocoa bar, holiday music, crafts, petting zoo and more. 4:30 – 8 pm: Fayetteville Country Christmas and Lighted Parade. Shopping, dining, and caroling on the square, followed by parade at 6 pm. Santa and Christmas tree display in the Old Fire Station. Crafts and Holiday Art Show opening at ARTS Ross Gallery, 2 – 6 pm. Christmas Movie on the Square after parade. Friday, December 15 7 pm: Sounds of the Season Concert at Festival Hill. The Blinn College Wind Symphony and Choir. Tickets $10, Saturday, December 16 10 am – 2 pm: Christmas Extravaganza at Round Top Family Library. Pictures with Santa, Christmas treats, game booths, and live holiday music by Balleen Keen. Gratis. Sunday, December 17 5:30 – 8:30 pm: The Christmas Experience at Milk & Honey Ranch. Christmas market, hayrides, carolers, live nativity scene, more. @milkandhoneyranch. Friday, December 22 10 am – 4 pm: Christmas with the Goats at Milk & Honey Ranch. Hot cocoa, photo ops, charcuterie, and goats in Christmas sweaters. Tickets $30. @milkandhoneyranch. Monday, January 1 3 pm: Dr. Linda Patterson and Friends organ recital. At the Edythe Bates Old Chapel at Festival Hill. Tickets $30. Saturday, January 13 3 – 4:45 pm: Houston Jazz Orchestra performance and lunch. At Festival Hill Concert Hall. Tickets $30, lunch, 12:45, $37.50.
