ROUND TOP SPONSORED PARTNER INSIDE VIEW: Bluejack National's Porch New A DEFINING CENTERPIECE, ELEVATING THE LUXURY LIFESTYLE T he jewel has officially been placed in the crown at Bluejack National residential resort and country club with the completion of its new low-country-style clubhouse. A decade in the making, the multifaceted amenity is designed with grown-up gatherings in mind. Club members and guests celebrated the new space — affectionately referred to as The Porch — in signature Bluejack style. A family- friendly weekend party headlined by Texas music stars William Beckmann and Pat Green, followed a day of exploring all the clubhouse has to offer. At the heartbeat of the community and perched above Bluejack's breathtaking Tiger Woods-designed golf course, the 22,000-square- foot clubhouse, envisioned by co-chairs Andy and Kristin Mitchell, delights with a series of intimate entertaining spaces. Designer Sam Governale sourced local art and a mix of antiques from around the world, including many pieces from Round Top, Texas, dealers and artists. Meshed with rich finishes and modern comfort, Governale's interiors are both refined and relaxed. A vast central bar serves as a hub that flows seamlessly into the clubhouse's multiuse areas. "The Den is filled with poker tables and a crazy massive TV screen," says Bluejack co-chair Kristin Mitchell. "During the day, The Den leans more masculine and has a speakeasy lounge vibe after dark. From a private dinner in The Lantern Room to a baby shower in the gorgeous Azalea Lounge, the clubhouse can flex from an intimate dinner for two to a wedding for up to 150+." Aside from special events, The Porch serves as the concierge center of Bluejack National. Members and residents stop in to arrange a round of golf, book a massage or manicure at The Sanctuary spa, or simply relax with a glass of wine. The kitchen is open from dawn to dusk, creating delightful breakfasts, flavorful lunch selections, and a decadent dinner menu with drinks and desserts. The Porch joins Bluejack's ever-expanding list of award-winning amenities available to private members, residents, and their guests. The most recent addition, The Sanctuary spa, celebrated its first anniversary during The Porch's Labor Day opening weekend. The club's kid- friendly amenity The Fort, has been recognized by Golf Inc. as an Amenity of the Year. Bluejack also revealed plans for its next project, The Garden, where a culinary test kitchen will serve as a home for cookery education and exploration with chef-led classes. A proper party barn to host milestone events will also be in The Garden, set to open by mid-2025. Bluejack is clearly a thriving community that continually evolves to exceed the needs and expectations of its residents and members. It's a place where Southern hospitality and laid-back luxury combine to create an active, engaged coterie like no other, deep in the heart of Texas.
