PARTIES IN THE FIELDS R ound Top serves as a siren song for those who love the thrill of the hunt. So it's no wonder that the chic North Carolina-based furniture company Society Social returned to its popular tent at Blue Hills for the fall show. This time, they partnered with Framebridge to debut Studio by Society Social, an art-focused concept and gallery with works by emerging artists Tara Roma Gill, Blakely Made, and cheeky fine art photographer Nick Mele. For the fall show, the Studio by Society Social hosted a popup at Rancho Pillow — a fever-dream manifestation of everything colorful and collected, wacky and wonderful about Round Top. Interior design darlings, creative entrepreneurs, and tastemakers joined Society Social owner Roxy Owens and Framebridge VP of strategic partnerships Cole Wilson for golden-hour cocktails and swapped stories about Round Top finds and regrets. An inspired dinner from chef Casey Wilcox followed. When describing Owens, I might borrow Taylor Swift's description of Travis Kelce and call her a "human exclamation point." Being in her orbit is joy-inducing. "Texas has a magic all its own — spirited, colorful, and full of heart — and Round Top embodies that energy completely," she says. "There's something so special about the way people connect there, the sense of community and creativity that fills the tiny town."
