Each contributed to the fashion brew that made up Tootsies' 25th anniversary party — a blockbuster bash of stylish propor- tions. Socials swarmed the boutique at The Plaza at Preston Center to celebrate the silver milestone. "Tootsies has a tradition of hosting fabulous fêtes," said store director Nerissa von Helpenstill. "To celebrate 25 years in Dallas, we had to pull out all the stops." Sales man- ager Dustin Holcomb and visual coordinator Matt Gilley spent the evening gabbing with the chic coterie, including Khanh Nguyen of Nha Khanh; Rachel Zoe national sales director Anna Boggs; Harper Hallam CEO and designer Rebecca Hallam; and L'Agence brand special- ist Oscar Adames. Even our favorite betches from Betchy Sketch, Kris Ammon and Steph Mojonnet, were on the scene, seeking their latest illustration inspiration. Of course, a Tootsies party would not be complete without runway royal Jan Strimple, who produced the party, top to bottom. She dressed a bevy of beautiful models in gypsy-like fashion; staged mystical vignettes throughout the store; enlisted the help of Penny, a dapper little party pony; and tapped the clairvoyant Valentina Burton, who doled out fortunes with her crystal ball and tarot cards.
