His recent collaboration with Knoll is equally entertaining. Rockwell Unscripted for Knoll, which debuted at NeoCon in 2016, introduces 30 products designed for a youthful and exuberant office or home: colorful puffy screens, cylinder poufs, beanbag seating, lap trays, modular sofas with pillows, oversized library tables, and more. Dallas designer Michelle Nussbaumer is among the chosen designers; for her tile design, she used variations on azulejo, a color and tile historically used in buildings in Spain and Mexico. The cubist- influenced patterns reference classic 16th-century Mughal designs, which Nussbaumer bumped up in scale for a modern interpretation.
