OBSESSIONS. DECORATION. SALIENT FACTS. 22 T he second location of Houston-based B&B Butchers debuted last month at Fort Worth's new The Shops at Clearfork, in good company among neighbors Neiman Marcus, Burberry, and Tiffany & Co. Owner Ben Berg's Houston locale is packed every day with titans of industry at lunch and a social crowd at night. The Fort Worth rendition, an 11,400-square- foot steak house, includes a butcher shop (where a window offers a peek into the meat dry-aging room), dining room, mezzanine, and covered patio. Premium Texas and Japanese Wagyu beef, and in-house dry-aged USDA Prime beef are on executive chef Christian Marentes' menu, with such offerings as Wagyu carpaccio, double-cut Colorado lamb chops, and bone-in chopped steak. Those on the go can grab bagels, coffee, and B&B's house-made sandwiches (roast beef, ham, salami, pastrami, et al.) or meats by the pound.
