The three- day event, Friday through Sunday, November 16 through 19, at the George R. Installed in the upper level of the Brown Pavilion, the princely "Tudors to Windsors" exhibition perfectly matches its glorious subject: five centuries of Great Britain's rulers of the realm. On once-in-a- lifetime loan, principally from the National Portrait Gallery in London, the richly royal exhibition presents 150 paintings, sculptures, and photographs that tell the tale of Buckingham Palace and Balmoral's inhabitants via artists from Holbein and Reynolds through Beaton, Leibovitz, and Warhol. Anspon Q WE'RE GUCCI G ucci has been having one big moment since Alessandro Michele took over creative direction in 2015. Now, a new Gucci boutique has opened in The Galleria. The 4,100-square- foot space houses men's and women's shoes, handbags, luggage, home decor, jewelry, watches, accessories, and men's ready-to-wear. In keeping with the house's history, travel is an integral theme of the store's design, especially references to luggage — and one storied trunk in particular. Traditional and modern elements contrast with industrial romantic: marble polychrome inlays are integrated into cement floors and metal plates are burnished with geometric patterns. The cherry- red and peacock-blue carpets, peacock-blue velvet, and pink matelassé upholstery, layered with vintage oriental rugs and sumptuous chairs make the luxurious store unmistakably Alessandro Michele's Gucci.
