The former First Lady charmed the crowd with stories and visuals demonstrating her husband's love of whimsical socks before showing off a pair of her own. Co-chairs Amanda and George P. Bush expressed gratitude to the five authors whose readings transfixed the audience: Sally Bedell Smith, Robert Zorn, Kathryn McGarr, Nicolle Wallace, and U.S. Senator Marco Rubio.
