CLOCKWISE FROM TOP LEFT:
Reminiscent of Texas kitschy wagon-wheel chandeliers, Jenny Kirtlands sculptural
design for the entry features Edison bulbs above a ring of clear acrylic. Suspended from
the apex of the vaulted ceiling, it illuminates a Saarinen table, Poltrona Frau glass floor
lamp, and a vintage painted chest. The leather chair is a family piece.
The Jan Showers two-piece settee was reupholstered in white patent leather; originally in
the entry, it found its forever home in the master bath. The striped wallpaper is laminated
for a subtle gloss.
Guitars and amps line one side of the upstairs recording studio.
A testament to John Kirtlands success in the music industry.
