The dining room interior architecture was designed in 1986 by George Weinle, who created cloud murals for client Yoko Ono. Small artwork at right is by Liliana Porter, from Sicardi/Ayers/Bacino. The carport, clad in old-fashioned beveled-pine siding milled in East Texas, forms a visual barrier to protect the side-facing courtyard from exposure to the street. Modular, cast-concrete Zygo-stem sculptures by Austin artist Paul Clarence Oglesby. Plants along the carport are red and yellow flowering — anemone, bat face cuphea, black-eyed Susan, butterfly weed, coreopsis, lantana, Turk's cap, and ranunculus. The pond is a small, galvanized stock tank planted with papyrus and yellow floating heart.
