letter publisher ANNE LAHO 22 W elcome to October. This month is al- ways busy for PaperCity, with fashion, home, and jewelry events in full swing. September ended with a bang, with the launch of PaperCity Fort Worth. Our Houston and Dallas teams traveled north- west and west, respectively, to celebrate the expansion with two nights of fabulous events. To kick things off, PaperCity hosted an intimate dinner at the always-packed B&B Butchers (the second outpost of the beloved Houston steakhouse). Our longtime partner Neiman Marcus hosted a cocktail party the following evening. Both venues are housed in The Shops at Clearfork, a Simon Property — a beautiful open-air shopping and dining destination in the heart of Fort Worth. We're already hard at work on the next issue of PaperCity Fort Worth, on stands March 2020. A major highlight of this October issue is the coverage of the winning entries from the PaperCity Design Awards, held in the spring at The Post Oak Hotel, as part of Texas Design Week Houston. Each year seems to somehow top the year before — each winning project is impressive on many levels. The date is set for the next PaperCity Design Awards, Monday, March 23, 2020, kicking off Texas Design Week Houston March 23-27. We hope you enjoy the October issue.
