JONATHAN JARDIN + MARTIN YAPTANGCO, DORIS TING "Yummy! 247" at Phoenicia Specialty Foods Gonzo247, Ann-Marie Tcholakian C uisine was the muse for Gonzo247 of Aerosol Warfare when he unveiled "Yummy! 247" at MKT Bar within Phoenicia Specialty Foods Downtown. The artist's grocerystore-inspired graffiti rendered the international market's imported goods in his preferred medium: spray paint on Plexiglas. At the exhibit opening, gallerinas enjoyed beats by DJ Melodic of Soular Grooves and light bites from Phoenicia's own Ann-Marie and Haig Tcholakian. (The exhibit will end with a similarly soulful reception on August 29, so stop by for a taste before then.)
