"The title of the work was taken from a Woody
Guthrie song, and he wrote it in the Great Depression.
I did the drawing after I saw the Maurice Sendak show at
The Morgan Library last year.
Maurice was the first artist I fell in love with after reading
Where the Wild Things Are as a child. I was lucky enough to be able to
collaborate with him on several drawings before he passed
away in 2012."
