For 36 years, the largest miniature train ex- hibit in Texas has enchanted NorthPark Center shoppers, with 1,600 feet of track guiding its charming railcars from San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge to the Grand Canyon and Times Square in New York City. The whimsical journey features fa- miliar local landmarks as well, including The Perot Museum, the Nasher Sculpture Center, and Fair Park. Of course, there's more than meets the eye at this festive, family-friendly attraction. Each year, hundreds of customized railcars, engines, and caboos- es hit the tracks in support of The Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. Since launching in 1987, the Trains at NorthPark has raised more than $18 mil- lion for the cause. To celebrate this year's exhibit, a sponsor party was held at the home of Laura and Spencer Siino. A sneak peek was held in mid-November, led by kid conductor Serenity Williams of Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. Spotted: The Trains at NorthPark co-chairs Elizabeth Dacus and Leigh Danley, N o r m B a g w e l l , C r i s t i e Escochea, Jill Cumnock, Chris Holder, Vince Manna, Pat Staudt, and Rebecca and Ben Yarborough. 1. 2. 3. 5. 4. 7. 8. 6. 95
