KIRSTEN FITZGIBBONS AND KELLI FORD KIRSTEN KELLI DALLAS AND GREENWICH, CT NICKOLAS SARGENT NICKOLAS SARGENT XX JASE JONES JASE JONES & ASSOCIATES DALLAS-FORT WORTH D esigners Kirsten Fitzgibbons and Kelli Ford knew this space would be the heart of the home, so they filled it with as many seats as possible (there's even a dog bed). Much of the seating, including a 12-foot sofa re-covered in Australian shearling, was sourced from the Round Top Antiques & Design Fair. Ceilings were covered in Embossed Crocodile by Phillip Jeffries, and the showstopping mantel was crafted from cerused ash wood with patinaed copper banding creating a plaid motif. F or his dramatic bar area, Jase Jones worked with Kirsten Kelli, who designed the adjoining family room, to ensure that his vision of Art Deco opulence flowed with her cozy aspirations. Every inch had a touch of glamour, from the leather-covered JennAir Noir appliances and Calacatta Picasso marble slab counters to the French mural wallpaper by Pierre Frey from Culp Associates and Hector Finch light fixtures from James. A Ferrari deck lid was turned into wall art by Dallas artist Costa Christ. For additional resources, see pages 72 & 74.
