A lways impeccable, Jan Showers has an Old Hollywood star quality that translates easily to the stylish interiors she designs. She's also the author of four books on glamorous living, making her an authority on the subject. Her latest, The Glamorous House (Abrams, October 21, 2025), opens the doors to 10 private residences across the United States, from a vibrant Preston Hollow residence in Dallas to a serene retreat in Hawaii and a Palm Beach charmer. Showers' interiors are immediately recognizable: jewel-bright tones and metallics balanced with Murano glass, French '40s, and Italian mid-century antiques, chinoiserie, contemporary art, and carefully chosen pieces of her own design.
