An icon of the 1970s, jewelry designer a n d f o r m e r fashion model Elsa Peretti was party pals with fashion legend Halston and designed some of her earliest baubles for Liza Minnelli, another Halston pal. The dawn of the disco era was defined by Peretti, and she cemented her place in its history when she debuted her famed Bone Cuff for Tiffany & Co. in 1970. Blurring the lines between fine jewelry and costume, the Bone Cuff was seminal in its organic design, sculpted ergonomically to reflect and contour the subtle grooves of the wrist and forearm. Today, the Bone Cuff exists in myriad styles, from variations in all the heavy metals to sleek black- or white-coated copper, with options inlaid with turquoise, diamonds or Nephite jade. It's a lesson in modern history. Bone Cuff by Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co. From top: Elsa Peretti Split Cuff in yellow gold. Balenciaga Spring/ Summer 2026.
