Loewe: Looking Fine at 180 F ounded in Madrid in 1846 by a collective of artisans, the house of Loewe established i t s r e p u t a t i o n through exceptional leatherwork and a commitment to excellence. Over the decades, that foundation expanded to include a broader creative language — one that embraces technical innovation, cultural curiosity, and a distinct sense of playfulness. At the center of the anniversary sits the Amazona 180. Reimagined b y c r e a t i v e directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, 24 the bag carries forward t h e c o n f i d e n c e a n d independence that defined the original, now expressed through softer proportions, supple materials, and a renewed sense of ease. Loewe's anniversary campaign photographed by Talia Chetrit brings together Julia Garner, Salma Abu Deif, Giselle, Kara Wai, Sissy Spacek, and Kara Walker, each paired with an enduring Loewe iconic bag including the Flamenco and Puzzle, as well as the newly introduced Amazona 180. The celebrations extend beyond the campaign. A capsule collection of ready-to-wear, bags, and small leather goods draws o n h o u s e s i g n a t u r e s , w i t h l i o n m o t i f s a p p e a r i n g t h r o u g h embroidery, leather intarsia, c h a r m s , and hidden details referencing the Loewe name (which is German for "lion") and its history.
