IT STANDS FOR BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER — OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE BEST KIND OF SOCIAL CIRCUIT. HERE, AN INSIDE LOOK AT HOW THE PARTY SET REALLY DINES. BLD BY JANE ROZELLE. PHOTOGRAPHY THOMAS GARZA, BO JOPLIN, JOHN THOMPSON. DINNER AT RACHOFSKY HOUSE Three of the most beloved worlds — good Champagne, excellent food and music — came together during an exquisite evening at the Rachofsky House hosted by power couple Cindy and Howard Rachofsky. It's no shock that Cindy would play host to such an affair, as she's a well-known foodie who travels the world in search of the most delicious dishes. This time, however, the fine dining came to her — and a couple dozen of the couple's closest friends — as James Beard Award–winning chef Grant Achatz of Chicago-based Alinea prepared a modernist menu, with each course paired with a Krug Champagne remarkable vintage. Classical violinist Charlie Siem — the handsome Brit who's performed with the London Symphony Orchestra and The Who and who collaborated with fashion houses Armani and Dior — provided charming concertos, making for a rather euphoric sensory evening. Among the dinner guests: Laura and Walter Elcock, Ceron, Todd Fiscus, Jennifer and John Eagle, Sébastien Vitry, and Jan and Jim Showers. BREAKFAST AT NEIMAN MARCUS When top tastemakers heard that Neiman Marcus Downtown and Who What Wear creator Hillary Kerr were co-hosting a breakfast honoring celebrity astrologer Susan Miller, they jumped at the chance to meet the fabulous forecaster of Astrology Zone, whose predictions are followed by everyone from socialite Gloria Vanderbilt to editor Joe Zee. The star-reading maven was in town to speak at the Create and Cultivate seminar, a conference for female creatives in the web space. A crowd of prominent ladies, who were instructed by invitation to come knowing their exact time of birth, arrived promptly at 8 am, and after a seated petit déjeuner, each had her turn to ask Miller one burning question for the year to come. One can only imagine what transpired. Spotted: Neiman Marcus VPs Wanda Gierhart, Neva Hall and Marjon Henderson; Dylana Suarez, Natalie Bowman, Allison Edwards, Courtney Edwards and Regina Cambell. LUNCH AT STANLEY KORSHAK It was an afternoon only the most stylish could dream of when host Alyson French invited her shoe-obsessed friends to a private luncheon at Stanley Korshak to celebrate CFDA Accessory Designer of the Year Tabitha Simmons. The British beauty charmed her way through the day, making new friends and advising on looks from her newly unveiled Spring/Summer 2016 collection. After shopping, guests glided up to Korshak's second floor and landed in a beautiful glass-walled room for lunch. In the mix: Stanley Korshak's Elaine Raffel, Rose Clark, and Cindy Pierce; Conor Rainbolt, Robin Bumstead, Jenny Price, Kelly Wagner, and Paige Kuchler.
