Naturally, that furniture needed a showroom. Inspired by changes in the design industry and a goal of diversification for the business, Jeanmard and Hudson opened a showroom that combines to-the-trade sources with a retail component. Many of the lines carried trace back to Wells himself. He was friends with D.D. Tillett — who, along with her husband Leslie Tillett, designed the textile line, Tillett, a favorite of Jackie Kennedy Onassis. Fully customizable colorways are offered in many of the lines carried at Wells Design, including Pintura Studio fabrics, O. Henry House furniture, Joanna Rock hand-blocked wallpapers (a botanical leaf print in a custom color papers a wall in the showroom), Vermilion hand-stitched needlepoint rugs from Brazil, and Anna Jeffreys Ltd. wallpapers. The duo offers full design services, as well as à la carte options, such as the creation and production of custom curtains and the option to purchase furniture off the floor or custom. Accessories abound: bone-inlay boxes made in India, candles, frames, and linens, as well as antiques from Kay O'Toole, Jerry Jeanmard's Paper People and other art via Moody Gallery, and a pair of Frank Gehry Wiggle chairs from Sunset Settings.
