68 NET-A-PORTER x PaperCity T he glamorous boots (Gianvito Rossi knee- high boots, to be exact) of NET-A-PORTER's London-based President, Alison Loehnis, trek many fashionable miles. Her busy schedule, carefully outlined in her PERFECTLY PLANNED HOURS WITH ALISON LOEHNIS 6 am: My alarm goes off, and I mentally plan my day. I like to wake up before my family and have a bit of quiet time to myself to get stuff done. Sometimes I exercise, but typically I will answer emails or make a few lists from my office at home. 6:30 am: My morning beauty routine consists of a cleanser from Dr. Barbara Sturm, a toner from Tata Harper, a serum by Youth Corridor, and Sarah Chapman eye recovery cream. As for makeup, I keep pretty natural. I'm an eyeliner girl; I use Tom Ford liquid liner, Charlotte Tilbury eye pencil and mascara, and Bobbi Brown lip balm. 7 am: Get the kids up and then breakfast with the family. Usually coffee with almond milk and scrambled eggs. Herewith, an hourly play-by-play of the retail mogul's typical and expertly planned day. BY LISA COLLINS SHADDOCK 7:45 am: The school run! 8 - 8:15 am: Head to the office. My typical fall look is a Saint Laurent jacket, Chloé blouse, and culottes from Valentino. I like to get in early and plan out my day, get a head start on work, emails and review papers. Then I meet with my amazing assistants, Sophie and Gemma. We figure out the daily diary and what needs to be done in the weeks ahead. 9 am: The rest of the team starts to arrive. I like to stroll around the office and say "Good morning," check in on how everyone is doing, and chat a bit about what's going on in their lives and in the business.
