Who can lay their eyes on one without recalling the approach of the new millennium, when everything seemed utterly fresh, fun and even a bit frivolous? There is nothing frivolous, however, about how many Baguettes have sold over the bag���s 15-year lifetime ��� a milestone celebrated by Family Services at a recent luncheon at Fendi���s Galleria boutique. Chairman Jana Fant, honorary chairman Debbie Festari, and Fendi���s Karin Tentori oversaw the midafternoon repast, which also kicked off the organization���s Una Notte in Italia fundraiser, which took place weeks later. The order of the day, naturally, was incredible Italian ready-towear, leather goods and accessories.
