58 FULL HOUSE BY CHRISTINA GEYER. PHOTOGRAPHY JONATHAN ZIZZO. T he arrival of PaperCity's new Dallas publisher, Hillery Stack, and culture/style editor Billy Fong seemed a long time coming. We added Stack and Fong to the team months before their actual start dates, so once they made their official entrée, it was time to celebrate. The location was the recently reinvented French Room Salon at the glamorous Adolphus hotel, which was given a head-to-toe makeover by Sam Sano and Joslyn Taylor, the stars behind creative agency Swoon the Studio. A summer storm swept in an hour before party time, still that didn't stop the social contingent from flocking, to raise a toast to Stack and Fong. Stack, who moved from New York to Dallas, after stints with Harry Winston, The New York Times, and Marie Claire magazine, took the helm of the advertising team as Dallas publisher, while Fong — a mainstay on the Dallas society scene who most recently was director of the Texas Association of Museums — covers the very busy culture and style beats. All in all, as summer moved into its final phase, we welcomed new faces and caught up with old friends, many in town on brief hiatus from summer stints in Aspen and the Hamptons.
