Texas Design Week 2018 kicked off at the ever-refined Stark Showroom with a keynote panel of design heavy hitters Mary Douglas Drysdale, Amy Berry, McAlpine's Ray Booth and scion of the Stark company, Chad Stark — and noth- ing could have set the tone better for the week that was to follow. The lively keynote discus- sion about the modern-day luxury design con- sumer flowed into cocktail conversation among guests, including Laura Lee Clark, Shelby Goff, Holly Hutchinson, Heritage Auction's Sarah Sutton, Alexandra Kern, Holly Bellomy, Josh Pickering, Russell Webb, Aryana and Alexander Emaili, Lacelliese King, and Audrey Defforey. Ambella Home owner George Moussa greeted guests as AD 100 de- signer Suzanne Kasler and Traditional Home senior style editor Krissa Rossbund led the Traditional Home Keynote at the showroom. Afterwards Kasler signed copies of her new book, Sophisticated Simplicity. Eveything But the House served as a sponsor, with Natalie Childers Hacker in attendance.
