22 A SEA OF GREAT DESIGN BY CHRISTINA GEYER. PHOTOGRAPHY JONATHAN ZIZZO. S erena & Lily may have more than a few stylish squatters on its hands. Following the opening party for its new Knox-Henderson home-goods shop — the brand's first store in Texas — most guests couldn't stop talking about how much they, well, wanted to move right in. Indeed, Serena & Lily would be the ideal second home, with its gorgeous retail space decorated top to bottom in their West Coast seaside vibe, showcasing the full range of furniture, bedding, fabrics, pillows, lighting, and accessories. (Heads up: The selection of coffee table tomes, here, is unparalleled.) I joined a tony set of hosts (@mytexashouse blogger Erin Vogelpohl; designer Amy Berry; and Cattle Baron's Ball chairs Wendy Messman and Lisa Haddow-Shirley), as well as store manager Carrell Stahala, to welcome a sea of design types, all who shopped to benefit Cattle Baron's Ball. IN THE FLOCK: Serena & Lily CEO Lori Greeley; chief creative officer Kristy Williams; and SVP's Brett Hilton and Jill John. As well as Denise McGaha, Brooke Hortenstine, Liz Lapidus, Streeter Berry, Lydia Cullen, Joshua Rossignol, Julie Meshri, and Sebastian Varney.
