letter publisher 22 MISAEL RODRIGUEZ W elcome, spring! As we usher in a new season, we welcome a packed social calendar. Spring seems hard to imagine as I write this letter; we're preparing for a quick blast of 30-degree temperatures and icy roads. However, I rest assured knowing this is not something that will stay for long. After all, this is Texas! During production of our second Fort Worth issue, I took a moment to reflect on the warm welcome we received following our launch in September. It's been such a joy to meet each of you and experience Fort Worth hospitality. We're excited to be part of this community and the organizations that are near and dear to your hearts. With that said, we're thrilled to announce that we will be back two more times this year: first, with our fall issue in September, and then with a holiday issue arriving in time to wrap up the year. Until then, we look forward to seeing you around town, at the many art, dining, and philanthropic events popping up across the city. I'm particularly looking forward to events we loved so much that we've partnered with them: The Amon Carter Museum of American Art's exhibition "Acting Out: Cabinet Cards and the Making of Modern Photography" (June 27 – September 20); The Kimbell Museum's "Flesh and Blood" exhibition with nearly 40 masterpieces from the Capodimonte Museum in Naples (March 1 – June 14); and The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth's "Mark Bradford: End Papers" (March 8 – August 9). You can read about each of them in this issue. I hope to see fellow food and wine lovers at the Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival, and the Classically Cliburn Gala Friday, April 3. We wrap up the month at the Make-A-Wish Foundation's Wish Upon a Par golf tournament and High Tee & Fashion Show Tuesday, April 20.
