Applauding 20 years: designers Marie Flanigan, Selena Mackay, LeTricia Wilbanks, Darla Bankston May, Cindy Witmer, and Mandy Plaisance Diaz; Rathe's daughter Kate Rathe; the gallerist's parents Doris and Sandy Nelson; Ann and Kevin Babcock; Enrica Vagliani Gray and Paul Gray; Rona and Jerry Levit; Amy Hammer; and artists including Nicola Parente, Kevin Gillentine, Meredith Pardue, Paul Rousso, Carly Allen-Martin, Katherine Houston, and Stephen Strum. At Texas Contemporary Art Fair, which returned to the George R. Brown Convention Center, opening night benefi ted Contempora ry Arts Museum Houston. Collectors, curators, and the curious turned out, including Art Market founders Jeffrey Wainhouse and Max Fishko, and fair director Kelly Freeman. Houston dealers standing out: Nancy Littlejohn Fine Art, Bryn Larsen and Geoffrey Koslov's Foto Relevance, Community Artists' Collective manned by Michelle Barnes, Paul Middendorf's Space HL, Carol Piper Rugs, and Zoya Tommy Gallery.
