T he stars aligned and we were able to shoot with model Vaughan Ollier, who goes simply by Vaughan, during a pandemic, two days before Christmas, in Round Top, Texas. The 24-year-old was born in Australia, reared in Dallas, lives in NYC, and is continuously packing her bags for London, Milan, and Paris. She's walked the runways for Christopher Kane, Ronald Van Der Kamp, and Marc Jacobs; shooting with photographers Inez & Vinoodh, and Steven Meisel for advertising campaigns for Marc Jacobs, and Vera Wang perfume, Miu Miu. "Each time I work with a team," she says, "it feels like a new part of me turns on, and I can tell a different story … I love bringing something as simple as clothing to life and giving it substance."
