We were pleased to see crowds and vendors doing well, as the night before, a tornado had torn through Warrenton and took out the tent space at Bader Ranch. Not to be intimidated by Mother Nature, Bader Ranch had replacement tents up the next day without skipping a beat. We shopped Jardin de France in the main barn and loved newcomer Barlow, a fashion-filled Airstream whose owners are from Southwest Louisiana. We stopped at Sissy Light Hats, and Stash Style, a pop-up shop by Curate by Stash which has a year-round shop in Round Top. Seen: Designer Barry Dixon in from Virginia, who orchestrated a tented Moroccan feast at Bader Ranch; as well as Katy Bader, Paige and Smoot Hull, Lyndsey and Bret Zorich, Madison Kauffman, Casey Barbles, Margaret Ortego, Catherine and Dan Mundinger, Laura Hoppe, Tina Zulu, and Jenny Antill Clifton. We ran into Melissa Ellis at The Arbors, who filled us in on the happenings at her new Tutu & Lilli shop that she shares with Muse, in Round Top Village. We also met Madison Marchbanks, a recent graduate of Ole Miss, who is both the brains and beauty behind the clothing line Happy Heart. Alissa Moyse, owns Casual Carats, a line of silicone jewelry mixed with pearls, diamonds, and silver or gold charms. Nashville Makers Mart debuted at Arbors with artisans, musicians, and craftsmen alike. We saw Kori Green (also known as Mrs. Pat Green) showing, with partner Ro Rynd, her Facets Home collection of hardware and pulls, as well as her jewelry collection, Kori Green Designs. In another tent were Verona Privé's hand-carved million-year-old minerals fashioned into platters, bowls, and art pieces.
