The dining room interior architecture was designed in 1986 by George Weinle, who created cloud murals for client Yoko Ono. Small artwork at right is by Liliana Porter, from Sicardi/Ayers/Bacino. Margaret Naeve Parker replaced the living room's heavy and dark fireplace with a lighter one of her own design in concrete and marble. Pierre Jeanneret chair from M Naeve. Painting Andrea Rosenberg from Moody Gallery. The house was built in 1890 as a stagecoach stop that included this Stranger's Room for weary travelers. The floor is not level, so Bill Curtis designed a hanging daybed. Walls are washed with a green stain, and pressed tin covers a hanging bulb. Antique bench and hooked rug.
